Bookings For The Aprilia Rs 457 Will Shortly Open: A new middleweight sportbike designed to compete with competitors such as the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and KTM RC 390 was unveiled by Aprilia a few weeks ago. Ahead of this weekend’s Indian MotoGP round, Aprilia unveiled the new machine because it would be produced at its Baramati, Maharashtra, manufacturing facility.
Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro, two MotoGP racers for Aprilia who both contributed to the design and testing of the vehicle, were present. Diego Graffi, CEO & MD at Piaggio India, was also present, however, Aprilia was not particularly open about the specifics and ambitions for the RS 457.
Graffi did note that pre-bookings for the bike will open soon, but no price has yet been disclosed. When asked about availability, he responded that Company plans to introduce the bike in Tier 1 and 2 cities all around the country during the following 12 months.
